The Seed

As a young child my mother gave me a book called "The Carrot Seed". This book was about a boy who planted a carrot seed and regardless of his family saying it wouldn't grow  he kept caring for it every day and the book ends with him having a big carrot.

I look at everything as a seed whether it be my creativity, my musicianship or relationships. Once they are planted you have to properly care for them. The carrot growing underground symbolizes faith to me. Often times we put in the work but get discouraged because we can't really see the results the way we want. Other people can't see it either so they will question why you are doing it, tell you to quit, sign off on you; just all bad vibes. But it is our job to not listen and keep pulling weeds and watering our seeds.

Thats what Karat Seed Productions is about, planting multiple seeds but also following through with the work.
